Hey guys, just to share some knowledge.
I was in the USA a couple of weeks ago and I needed a prepayed voice+3G card to use during my stay there.
I had an AT&T locked iPhone that was unlocked with ultrasn0w but still I got an AT&T card to be sure. Anyway AT&T could not assure me that the data would work a the prepayed data cards were new and not designed for iPhones (WTF??)
And it was true, voice worked ok but I could not connect through 3G.
I fixed this by downloading custom AT&T pan settings from unlockit co nz.
